Auto Repair in Powhatan, VA

I’m just gonna say it. This place is the best. Lots of people can switch a tire. These guys were different. We were camping up the road at Powhatan State Park and our trailer tire needed an emergency replacement. These guys had us in and out in less than an hour for two tires on VETERANS DAY!!!!! Not only that but the customer service was top tier. The service tech (maybe manager) took the time to explain signs and symptoms of wear, blowout and other issues. He proceeded to replace the tires and took the time to explain what he did, what pressures he filled to, the new high pressure stems he put in, and what foot/pounds he torqued everything down to. Again, Ive never gotten better service. Come see these guys. I’ll be back next time I need tires…I’ll just schedule a camping trip around it.

Got 4 tires for the truck. More than fair $…including the rotate/balance package. Alignment took a couple of tries (and some aftermarket parts). The Alignment is a success. Very happy with all the staff/techs at Powhatan Tire. They will shoot you straight, and are atop of their game. Will definitely continue this relationship.

The folks at Powhatan Tire were great! Scheduled an appointment and they took my truck right on time. They told me what they were going to do and that is what they did. There was a problem with a rusted bolt but that was solved and I was on my way in less than an hour. Very friendly and courteous people. Highly recommend!

We had a heat issue and weren’t sure of where to take our Ram. We decided to go Powahatan Tire and Service, and we are so glad we did. It was a big job, and it took several days to get it fixed. The guys went over above for us, and when we need service and are in the area, we will definitely use them again. Thank you, Tristan and team!

Powhatan is Pretty Awesome!! Their overall service was great! They were courteous, kind, got me out of there in no time, and did not overcharge or fluff the service I needed. I cannot recommend their service enough! You will not be disappointed when you go to see them. I’m truly happy to have gone to them! As long as I live around here, they will be my car service guys!! Go check them out!!

I had a great experience! I was able to drop off my car and have the oil changed, headlights replaced, and a full inspection—all completed the same day. I picked my car up at the end of the workday with everything taken care of. I also appreciated how easy it was to schedule an appointment within the same week. Super convenient and great service!

After having my truck serviced here, and replacing the tires with a different brand as recommended by the staff, I felt a substantial difference immediately as I drove off their lot. My truck has NEVER driven this good — even when it was new it didn’t feel so good driving down the road. I had been experiencing vibrations on the front end at higher speeds and brought it to the dealer’s attention on multiple occasions….still they could never correct it. One visit here and the issue is resolved! The OEM was never able to achieve that in the 3 years I’ve owned it. The truck felt stable, rode like a dream, and the difference in the ride was remarkable! These folks were courteous, professional, patient, and clearly knew what they were doing. It was a very reasonable cost (even better than I could buy tires online) and they serviced it quickly and to perfection. They will have ALL of my vehicular maintenance business going forward. I have never has a repair experience better than this one. I appreciate their integrity and expertise. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.
